5 Things You Need to Know Today: Oct. 15

Milford Selectmen meet tonight at 7. The agenda includes discussion of the articles on the upcoming special town meeting warrant.

1. Milford Selectmen meet at 7 Monday night, and the agenda includes a review of articles for the Oct. 22 Special Town Meeting, and discussion of the steps for replacing

2. The 2012 Oil Painting Exhibit will be at Milford Town Library through Oct. 26. An opening reception for the artists was Saturday.

3. The deadline for registering to vote for the Presidential Election is Wednesday. Town Hall will be open until 8 p.m. for registering. Attention high school students: you can register as long as you will be age 18 by Nov. 6.

4. A reminder about those falling leaves. The town Highway Department has released its  The first pickups begin the week of Oct. 29.

5. Don't forget to check for your new property assessment. The public disclosure phase ends this week. Check online at www.milford.ma.us, or at the Assessor's office at Milford Town Hall.
