WATCH IT! Milford Traffic Can Only Get Worse

The traffic video filmed by Casino-Free Milford shows the real story of Milford's traffic headaches.

Do you think Milford traffic is bad now? Consider the impact of seven million people coming to a casino in Milford every year! Between 10,000 and 18,000 cars, vans, trucks, and buses would travel to and from the casino on Milford's local roads and highways every day.

Foxwoods is even planning hourly buses from Boston and Worcester during peak times to get more people here.

A recent article on Patch by Mary MacDonald included the following concerning statements:

"While the casino claims the proposed I-495 collector road system as mitigation, this project is needed by the casino developers to provide access to the casino site and will not increase capacity on I-495," wrote David Saladino, director of transportation planning and engineering for RSG. "It is essentially a very expensive extension of the site driveway that will allow tens of thousands of cars to access the casino site each day, further degrading already congested sections of I-495 and I-90."

Watch our traffic video, filmed on Milford's own roads and highways, and see for yourself how MORE traffic can only make our current traffic headaches worse.
