THINK ABOUT IT! Casino Threatens Our Family Town

The development of a casino threatens our safe, not too crowded, family oriented community.

Dear Members of the Milford community:

In 1993, my husband and I purchased a home in Milford because the town was both equal distance from both of our places of employment and affordable. We were unfamiliar with the area, as my husband grew up in New Jersey and I was raised in Woburn, Mass.

We felt at home in "the boondocks" immediately upon arriving in our neighborhood, where most of the occupants were lifelong residents of Milford, many living in their childhood home. Our sense of community grew with the birth of our daughters in 1997 and 2000 at Milford Hospital. As soon as they were enrolled in playgroups, scouting, preschool and sports, we met even more parents who were born here and came back to raise their families - a true testament to this family-friendly town. We felt confident in our decision to raise our family in Milford, a safe, not too crowded, family oriented community.

Please don’t make me regret my decision! If the casino comes to Milford, everything I love about this town will be threatened. Vote NO on Nov. 19.
