Milford Resident Joins New Wegmans Leadership Team in Chestnut Hill

One of Milford's own will be helping to get a new Wegmans grocery store up and running next month in Chestnut Hill.  

Milford resident Todd Drickel will serve as the new store's Perishable Area Manager, according to an announcement by the company this week. 

Drickel has worked for Wegmans since 1992 and has served in various roles, including front-end manager, produce manager, pharmacy manager and service manager. 

The store will hold its grand opening on Sunday, April 27 and will feature 80,000 square feet of shopping space, including a 10,500 square-foot shop offering a variety of wine, beer and spirits. The beer and spirits shop will be open to the public on Saturday, March 29.

In the new role, Drickel will oversee product quality, sales, merchandising, employee growth, development and performance, as well as ensuring efficiency in the bakery, seafood, meat and cheese departments.
