Foxwoods MA to Announce Casino Plan for Fall River

Rejected by voters in Milford Nov. 19, Foxwoods Massachusetts will try again in Fall River.

Spurned by a majority of Milford voters, Foxwoods Massachusetts has redirected its attention to Fall River.

The casino partners are expected to announce Tuesday the details of a new proposal for a resort casino in Fall River, according to a report published by the Associated Press.

The mayor of Fall River, William Flanagan, reported that no location within the city had been chosen. David Nunes, the chief development officer of Foxwoods MA, called his office the day after Milford voters rejected the casino referendum.
