Beijing Dumpling House Opens on Main Street Downtown

The restaurant will focus on serving foods popular in northern China, including noodles and dumplings.

A new restaurant opened Monday in downtown Milford: Beijing Dumpling House.

The restaurant at 163 Main St. will feature foods of northern China, including noodles, handmade dumplings and Beijing-style roast beef, pork ribs, braised pork and other specialties.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week, with a "Beijing Brunch" on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Beverages include the popular "bubble" teas and iced tea, sodas, green teas and tea latte.

The head cook is Zhiru Huan, who formerly worked at the Friendship Hotel in Beijing.
