IMAGE GALLERY: Adam Lambert Draws Enthusiastic Crowd

Singer Adam Lambert drew a diverse crowd that ranged in age from 8 to over 70, and many of his fans traveled far to see him in Milford.

Adam Lambert drew a crowd to on Wednesday that showed his music appeals to a wide range of people.

The singer performed two songs in an acoustic set sponsored by WXLO in Worcester. The intimate setting meant fans were able to stand just a few feet from the star.

About 100 people attended the show, sponsored by the station, or through PinZ. The singer, who came to fame through American Idol, performed his hit "Whataya Want From Me?" and a new song on his upcoming release "Better Than I Know Myself."

Lambert was relaxed and friendly throughout the event. He fielded questions about his favorite designer (Skingraft - whose leather jacket he wore on Wednesday), whether he likes Twitter (he does: @AdamLambert), his favorite toothbrush color (neon green), and whether he likes pens.

The pen question made him laugh. "Yeah," he said, after a pause. And what color? "I'm really feeling yellow right now."

Fans came to the event from points across the Northeast. Brittany White came in from a town near the Jersey shore. She positioned herself front and center, as soon as the fans were allowed into the where Lambert performed.

I am so happy so many got to meet and watch Adam perform two live songs. He's such an inspiration and a wonderful person both inside and out. Anyone who has met him cannot stop raving about how nice, sweet and kind he was to them. I wish more more like him.
