VIDEO: Why Do We All Love Oktoberfest?

There are many reasons why Milford residents flocked to the Oktoberfest in Hopedale. We even found Joseph Kennedy III there. He tells us his favorite food picks.

Thousands of people, including on his Congressional campaign, visited the fourth annual Hopedale Oktoberfest for music, rides, beer, and food. More than 100 vendors, including many from Milford, filled the streets surrounding the Little Red Shop Museum. Kennedy stopped to answer a few questions.

Thirteen musicians performed in the park areas. Last year, Hopedale Oktoberfest won the WMRC Radio’s Best Local Music Event.

Besides the music, families enjoyed the hayrides, kayak rentals, pony rides, petting zoo, Volkswagen car show, and beer garden (and the list continues).

Friends of Historic Hopedale and the Oktoberfest Planning Committee planned this community event.  The Hopedale Oktoberfest began in 2009 to raise money for the Little Red Shop Museum and charity.
