Traffic Detour On Route 140
The railroad crossings will be used by the Grafton & Upton Railroad, which is re-establishing lines through Milford, Hopedale and Upton.
Milford Police are detouring traffic on Route 140, south of the hospital, to allow the Grafton and Upton Railroad to install a crossing.
The detours are creating some backups on affected roads, including Fruit Street and Main Street near Milford Regional hospital.
The work is expected to be completed Thursday.
