A new health center is open in Milford.

Local and state officials opened a new branch of the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center on Monday.

The facility, located at 42 Cape Rd. in Milford, began accepting patients on March 10 this year, and during the months of March and April, saw 571 patients through 688 visits, the center said.

Congressman Joe Kennedy III was on site to open the center Monday with State Sen. Richard Moore (D-Uxbridge), along with Kennedy CHC-Milford faculty.

Kennedy CHC offers primary care, medical specialties, dental, behavioral health and social services throughout the Central and MetroWest areas, according to its website.

For more information, visit www.kennedychc.org or follow the center on Facebook.

Yeah, Legeis, this isn't a college campus. Free speech and intellectual diversity are still permitted here.

Ok. You're right. An article on the Patch explaining the medical care facility called Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center is the right place to discuss Chappaquidic, or debate the freedoms of 1776, or state that all mass voters are assumed to approve of killing prostitutes, or rehash all things about the Kennedy family, or relate any of my words or your words here to free speech. My sincere apologies for being absolutely crazy and expressing myself. I've learned my lesson.

Would you be ok with the "Charles M. Manson Community Health Center"? No? Ok, so you draw the line somewhere between one and seven murders. Got it. Of course, if the Koch brothers donated millions for a new health center in Milford... http://www.forbes.com/sites/georgeleef/2014/06/18/koch-derangement-syndrome-breaks-out-after-25-million-donation-to-united-negro-college-fund/

No I wouldn't of course. But I also wouldn't go on a tirade about a 40 year old controversy that no one is even arguing with you about here! You continue to miss my simple point. I am obviously too simple to keep up with this thread. But, please, keep going on and on about your feelings about murderers or whatever else you somehow correlate to this Patch blurb about a medical center I can only assume you (or anyone you know or have ever known) will never need or use. Enjoy your weekend.
