Cheerleaders Raising Money for Trip to Nationals
The Milford Youth Cheerleaders, U10 squad, are collecting donations so every one of the 24-member squad can go to Nationals competition in December.
The Milford Youth Cheerleaders are around town Wednesday, in the rain, collecting cash donations for an upcoming trip to the Nationals competition in Florida.
The U10 squad, for girls under age 10, qualified for nationals following a regional competition last week. To allow all of the girls and their coaches to make the trip to Orlando, on Dec. 12-14, the team has set up a contribution page on GoFundMe.com. And the members also are collecting at stop lights in Milford, where Patch spotted them.
