Wachusett Mountain and Ski Ward ski programs registration

Lenny Morcone, Director of the Milford Community School Use Program, has announced the start of registration for the upcoming ski programs.

The Wachusett Mountain Ski Program will be offered again this year.  Students in grades 5 through 12 are eligible to participate.  This program will run on Sundays beginning January 5, 2014 and continue for 6 weeks.  Participants may opt for lift tickets only, or add rentals and lessons for both skiing and snowboarding.  Since transportation is required, all participants are assessed a transportation fee to ride the bus.  Please refer to our website at www.mcs.milford.ma.us for details. Wachusett requires their original form to be completed for registration.  Forms are available at the security kiosk in Milford High School, the Milford Community Program office, Stacy Middle School office and Middle School East office.  The deadline for registration is November 20, 2013.

Registration will also begin immediately for the Ski Program at SKI WARD in Shrewsbury, MA.  The program is for students in grades 2 through 6 and will be held on Wednesday afternoon beginning on January 8, 2014.  The program at SKI WARD will run once again for 5 weeks.  Any cancelled week will be added to the end of the program.  Ski or Snowboard lessons and rentals are available.  All participants are assessed a transportation fee since bus transportation from the Milford High School parking lot is provided.  Please check out the details on our website at www.mcs.milford.ma.us and use the Ski Ward form on the website for registration.  The deadline for registration is November 20, 2013.
