The American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts is calling for nominations for the 2014 Breakfast of Champions Breakfast. Each year the Breakfast of Champions honors local people who have done remarkable things in the community. This annual signature event began as a way to honor the heroes of September 11, 2001 and in the years since, has grown into a celebration of the courage, kindness and unselfish character displayed by incredible people across central Massachusetts.
Past honorees include people who have had an extraordinary impact on the community or fellow man by saving a life or through community service. Members of the community are invited to nominate a local hero for consideration. Honorees will be selected by a committee of individuals from our community, including former award recipients.
Submissions from cities and towns across central Massachusetts are welcome. Nomination forms and criteria are available at www.redcross.org/centralmass. Nominations must be submitted online or postmarked no later than January 31, 2014.

The 2014 Breakfast of Champions will take place Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. at Cyprian Keyes, 284 East Temple Street, Boylston, MA 01505.
