Milford Resident Helps GBCA Boys’ Basketball Team Capture MACS State Tournament Championship

A Milford resident is a member of the boys’ basketball team of Grace Baptist Christian Academy of Attleboro which captured the State Tournament title of the Massachusetts Association of Christian Schools this season for the first time in four years.

          Christopher Dutton is a member of the GBCA squad that defeated host Twin City Christian School of Lunenburg, 42-37, in the championship game Feb. 14. The Centurions had bowed twice to the Eagles in regular-season play this winter, but bounced back to earn their first state crown since the 2009-10 campaign.

          GBCA will bring a 10-6 season record into the Region Tournament of the New England Association of Christian Schools which starts this week.
