Do They Know It's Christmas?

The Local Area Music Ensemble (LAME) has recorded a special holiday song to benefit the Daily Bread Food Pantry in Milford.  The song "Do They Know It's Christmas?" was written by Bob Geldof and and Midge Ure and recorded 1984 to raise money for relief of a famine in Ethiopia.  All proceeds will go to the Daily Bread Food Pantry in Milford.  The song can be purchased online for $5 on WMRC's "Steals and Deals Marketplace" at www.wmrcdailynews.com; at the WMRC Studios at 258 Main St., Milford; Rubber Chicken Comics at 15 North Main Street, Bellingham; and other local businesses. Additionally, one of the LAME singers Mike Rossacci will have CD's of the song for sale at the Milford Performing Arts Center's December recital this Sunday night at 150 Main Street, Milford beginning at 5:00 PM.  For more information, visit LAME’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/milfordlame.
