Special Town Meeting Proposed for Dec. 9 on Casino Zoning

1. An attorney representing Foxwoods Massachusetts told selectmen Monday the casino developer will request selectmen set a special town meeting date of Dec. 9, in the event the Nov. 19 referendum on the casino is approved, for Town Meeting to consider zoning changes for the casino.

2. Eva's Pizza on Water Street will change ownership. The restaurant will become Brunelle's, also serving pizza. The new owner is the current manager.

3. Starbuck's opened at the Milford Target on Monday.

4. Reminder that Chris Herren will be a featured guest of the Milford Public Schools on Tuesday.
