Police Report Fewer Crashes at South Main and Fruit Intersection

Here are five things to know to help inform your day.

1. Since the town installed a flashing light, including a strobe, at South Main and Fruit streets, just one crash has been reported, according to police statistics. In 2012, three crashes were reported there, and five in 2011.

4. Lamoureux and Pagano Architects of Worcester was awarded a $34,606 contract last week to serve as resident engineer on the Milford Town Hall window restoration project, due in part to its experience in historic renovations. Town Selectmen have also approved a contract for G.V.W. Inc. of East Boston for the window restoration project.
