Milford Pumpkin Stroll Set for Oct. 26

Here are five things to know to help inform your day.

1. The Milford Pumpkin Stroll will be Saturday, Oct. 26 at Plains Park. This annual, popular event is produced by Charles River Bank and volunteer Mike Shain. The stroll attracts several hundred parents each year for trick-or-treats for children, and everyone is encouraged to drop off their hand-carved masterpieces. This year, $100 prizes will be made available for Scariest, Funniest and Most Creative pumpkins.

2. Several musicians for the Boston Symphony Orchestra will perform in Milford on Sunday, Oct. 13. The musicians will perform Beethoven's String Trio No. 1 in E flat, Op. 3; and Schubert's String Trio in B flat, D.581. The trio will be: Ala Jojatu, violin; Rebecca Gitter, viola; Mihail Jojatu, cello.

3. If you live near W. Walnut Street in Milford, be on the lookout for Claudia. The grey tiger cat was reported missing on Tuesday.

4. Here is an unusual post. A man who said he has a "Big Bang" theory-inspired mini-golf set, which is apparently a big hit with everyone who's played it, is looking for a permanent home for his science-inspired creation. Any takers?
