Leaf Collections to Begin, Milford Pond Meeting
Here are five things to know to help inform your day.
1. Today's Weather - According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday will be partly sunny, with a high near 66. Expect a south wind 5 to 15 mph. There is a 20 percent chance of rain. Tuesday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 39. Expect a northwest wind 10 to 13 mph.
2. Leaf collections will begin in Milford the week of Oct. 28 through Nov. 1. See the schedule for the specific streets. The collections will be from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily weather permitting. Do not bag the leaves, push them to the side of the curb. (not in the street or sidewalk)
3. The Milford Pond Restoration Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The committee is expected to discuss the schedule of improvements for the pond.
4. A benefit for Casino Free Milford will be held at PiNZ and the Blue Dog Bar & Grille Wednesday night.
