Christmas Decorations on Main Street, Sales of Local Song to Benefit Food Pantry

Here are five things to know to help inform your day.

1. Oh, those Christmas elves! Over the weekend the lighted wreaths appeared on the light posts downtown. In the nick of time!

2. A local group of musicians has recorded a cover of "Do They Know it's Christmas" and the song, on sale now at several businesses, will benefit the Milford Daily Bread Food Pantry.

3. Imperial Buffet is moving from 350 E. Main St. into a new space at 324 E. Main St., which has been renovated and expanded, and will become Sky Buffet. Milford Selectmen were asked to approve the liquor license transfer on Monday. The new manager will be Yan Ru Tong, who takes the place of Brian Cheng. The space is the former Doc's Sports Bar.

4. Be mindful of the snow today. It is expected to arrive early to mid-afternoon.
