There is still time to get a flu shot and be protected for the rest of this season. The VNA and Hospice of Greater Milford, which became part of the SALMON family in 2012, will hold a free flu clinic on Jan. 22 from 3 to 5 p.m. at 37 Birch St. in Milford.
The vaccine is available for anyone over the age of three who has not yet received a flu shot.
According to the Massachusetts public health website, flu season typically peaks in February and continues through May. The best way to protect yourself from getting sick is to get a flu shot. Due to limited availability of the vaccine, please call (508) 422-1835 to make your reservation.

More About Visiting Nurses Association
The Milford VNA provides hospice and home health care services to the greater Milford, Franklin and Blackstone Valley region. Services include medical and surgical nursing care, rehabilitative services, mental health nursing, social services and maternal/child care. Certified Home Health Aides are also on staff to assist patients with bathing, dressing and home-exercise programs.
