Kellett and Son Funeral Home, died this week following a long battle with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Mr. Kellett, who was 61, was a graduate of Milford High School, and of New England Institute for Applied Sciences. He was a member of the Milford Chamber of Commerce, and a past president of Milford Rotary Club. Survivors include his wife, Janet M. Lucille J. (Pandozzi) Criasia, 65, died Saturday, Dec. 29. Born in Milford, she was a lifelong resident. She was educated in Milford schools, and worked at the former Bickford Shoe Company. Concetta M. Lombardi, 93, died Monday, Dec. 24. She was a lifelong Milford resident, educated in Milford schools, and a communicant at Sacred Heart Church. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Sylvia Lombardi of Milford, a cousin, Jennie Peroni of Milford, and many nieces and nephews. Michael T. Parente Sr., 89, died Dec. 16. He was a lifelong resident of Milford, graduating from Milford High School with the Class of 1940. He served in World War II in the U.S. Army and was a corrections officer at MCI Norfolk until his retirement in 1985. He was active in town as a member of the Sons of Italy, Milford Italian Veterans, VFW in Medway, American Legion, and a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Jose L. Esteves, 48, of Milford, died Friday, Dec. 7. Born in Arcos, Montelegre, Portugal, he moved to Milford in 1987. He was an engineer at Bose in Framingham for 25 years. He is survived by three brothers: Domingos Esteves, Jose M. Esteves and Luis F. Esteves, all of Milford; two sisters, Judite Goncalves of Milford and Teresa Esteves of Mendon, as well as many nieces and nephews. Guido J. Alberto, 89, died Friday, Nov. 30. He was a lifelong resident of Milford, graduating with Milford High School, Class of 1942. He served in the Navy and worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Wellesley until his retirement. He was a member of the Forgiano Club and of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. He was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn T. (Schwaab) Alberto in 1991, and is survived by two daughters, Linda Lyrist and Karen Alberto, both of Milford and one granddaughter. Dr. Joseph E. Murray, who grew up in Milford and went on to become an accomplished surgeon who was part of the team that performed the first human organ transplant, died Monday at a Boston hospital. Dr. Murray, who was 93, received the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1990 for his pioneering work in organ transplants. He grew up in Milford, the youngest of three children, and the son of a school teacher and a District Court judge. George L. Consigli, 92, died November 21. He was a Milford native and lifelong resident. He was an accomplished stone mason and part owner of Consigli Construction Company, Inc. He was active in town, a member of Sons of Italy, The VFW and the Masons union.
