Saturday, Democrats from across the commonwealth gathered in Springfield for the 2012 endorsing convention. Elizabeth Warren secured 95.8 percent of the vote and took the nomination — her challenger, Marisa DeFranco, failed to get the 15 percent delegate vote required to keep her in the primary. I was there, representing Milford, and I also worked for the Warren campaign, greeting delegates and helping them find their seats. It was a great way to spend a rainy Saturday!
Watch out, Scott Brown — there's a smart, capable woman running against you, and it's time to start talking about the issues and your voting record — smears about her heritage aren't going to be enough to return you to Washington!
