It's a great shot. Should be marketed. Post card, place matt, enlargements etc. I'd buy one.

The Town Hall is a beautiful old building that has changed many colors over the years!

That is the MOST BEAUTIFUL picture I have ever seen of Milford, and I am going to send it to everybody I know so they won't worry about me anymore!

LOL David. But seriously, Milford desperately needs to rehab its reputation by highlighting the good and beautiful people, places and things that DO exist here.

Ann, what an awesome and thoughtful gesture on your part. I'm sitting here, tears running down my cheeks, remembering how many times I walked by these buildings as a young girl growing up in Milford. I have such fond memories of the Town Hall, with a mother, who worked across the street at Ted's Diner. Workers would cross the street atleast once a day for coffee or lunch. (Yes, even Chief of Police) Such great memories and I wish I could sing like Cher and "If I Could Turn Back Time"!!! Thank you, thank you and thank you.

My sentiments exactly! I left Milford as a child but some of those beautiful pics still look familiar. Thank you for the memories.

Oh I didn't mean to detract from the nostalgia! I meant to be hopeful, because it is beautiful now, too.

I'm happy to see someone else appriciate the beauty. I get so sad for people who only see all the things wrong and can't stop to see the things that are right. Theres some pretty cool architectual gems in this town :)

I so admire the spirit of the people in Milford (Milfordians? Milfordites?). I think Milford and Framingham share a lot of the same issues, but the general sense of hope and pride in Milford is genuinely refreshing.

I love the Irish Round Tower! The Irish buildt it in St. Mary's cemetary to remind them of their homeland!

Myd's Round Tower is a good shot. I gave up shooting it when I couldn't successfully eliminate the flag staff next to it.

Thank you. I'm enjoying B/W more and more as my camera gets older and beat up as my color shots often come out more and more feeling lifeless and dull.

An old Kodak digital camera that I use for work. I'm constantly crawling around old steam tunnels and in dusty condemned buildings with it in my pocket so it takes a beating. Its to the point where it doesn't turn off anymore. I have to take out the battery after each use. I'm fond of it though and wouldn't replace it until it completely dies.

You'll keep that camera until it goes to infinity. Great shots especially the Purgatory Chasm.

Thats not the old Ted's diner car is it? It's been so long I can't remeber what it looked like inside.

It was just an old dining car and a few passenger and sleeper cars that I was sent to inspect for a salvage company. I doubt it had any real historical significance. I just felt moved by it. When I first looked in the car, I had, for a split second, a mental image of people there having dinner as they crossed the country.

Thank you Sir.

It seems the older I get, the only time that life seems to actually slow down is when I have a camera in my hand.

So proud of the Milford 4th Grade Boys' basketball travel team! Champions for their grade level in the Douglas Annual Invitational Basketball Tourney (see pic #244) They fought real hard and came out on top of a strong Douglas team.
Congrats all!

As a recent business transplant (Midas,76 east main st) I see and hear a lot of pride in the neighborhood and my neighbors who do business here, have nothing but good things to say. As a small biz owner interested in becoming part of the community, I am more than willing to do my small part in keeping up positive community standards.
