An electrical contractor began work on the installation of a stoplight at Prospect and Water streets last week, a juncture many people think is among the worst in Milford.

The wiring below the street should be finished this week.

The state Department of Transportation then will begin work on the lights themselves. The project is being handled by the state.

Mary- the real danger will be when the lights are first installed- look for people who think they know the intersection to be blissfully ? unaware there are lights.

These guys are making things worse (for now). When they’re done working for the day they leave their skid truck in a very bad spot, creating a dangerous blind spot at an already dangerous intersection (see picture). Chief, I know it’s not part of your job…but I know you check these blogs sometimes…can you ask them to park this thing somewhere else?
