When is it Time for a New Dog License?

Milford requires all dog owners to license their pets each year.

Milford has more than 1,500 dogs, and every year, they are required to get a license renewal.

The licensing period begins April 1 and extends through June 30. You can still get the dog licensed after that, but you will pay a $10 late fee.

The on-time fees: male and female dogs, $25 per dog; spayed and neutered dogs, $6 per dog.

The Milford Town Clerk's office handles this licensing. You need to bring a current/valid Rabies Certificate & a Spay/Neutering Certificate (if it is not already noted on the rabies certificate).

Cash or money orders only are accepted.

And if you own more than three dogs: you have to have a kennel license.
