Police Log: Streaking Partygoer, Returned Wallets

Select items from the March 11-13 police log.

This edition of the police log includes a drunk driving arrest, a domestic assault arrest, two returned wallets and several late night disturbances—including a loud party that one person apparently left in his birthday suit. 

Friday, March 11 

1:12 p.m.: A caller told police that debris from a home being remodeled on S. Main Street was blowing into the roadway and causing a traffic hazard.

5:15 p.m.: Police responded to a request for a well-being check on a child on Pheasant Circle. The request came from the Division of Children and Families. An officer located the child at the , where she was found to be safe and ok.

7:17 p.m.: Two officers attempted to serve a restraining order at an address on Colonial Road.

7:48 p.m.: Two officers went to an address on West Street to serve a restraining order, but found the address belonged to the plaintiff. They were unable to determine the current location of the subject of the order. 

8:11 p.m.: Mendon police forwarded a report of a domestic assault at an address on Beach Street. The report indicated an 18-year-old woman was being assaulted by her father. A dispatcher was able to reach the woman by phone and officers were sent to the scene and arrested Apotol S. Delacruz, 54, of 46 Beach St., Milford, and charged him with domestic assault and battery. 

11:52 p.m.: An officer drove a mother and child back to a local shelter from the emergency room at .

Saturday, March 12  

12:29 a.m. Police received a report of a single-car accident in the area of . Reports indicated a green Jeep was seen leaving the scene of that accident heading north on 140. An officer found a vehicle matching that description had crashed into a stone wall in the area of on S. Main Street. Police arrested Kamiah Marchant, 21, of 56 Blackstone St., Mendon, and charged her with operating under the influence of alcohol and a marked lanes violation. 

1:42 a.m.: A caller told police he had been threatened by the staff at . When an officer arrived to take a report, the party was gone. Attempts by the officer to call the reporting party back were not successful. 

3:13 a.m.: A caller from Brookfield Road told police a car alarm had been sounding for some time. 

7:37 a.m.: Police assisted the parties involved in a two-car accident at the intersection of Central and Main streets involving a red Jeep and a green Ford Focus. No one was injured. 

10:13 a.m.: Police responded to a report of a loud disturbance and possibly an argument involving several parties in the area of 258 Main St. The responding officer could not locate anyone in the area. 

11:31 a.m.: Police issued a be-on-the-lookout for a black vehicle being driven erratically after a caller said he had been cut off by the car in the area of Dunkin Donuts on Main Street.

2:37 p.m.: Someone returned a wallet that had been found at to the police station. 

2:28 p.m.: Another party walked into the police station to return a wallet, this time one found at the Milford Plaza Ultra Wash. 

4:02 p.m.: A caller asked police to move a group of young females who were throwing boulders off the side of the Roland Bridge. The caller said he feared that someone would fall off the bridge.

5:35 p.m.: A woman walked into the police station to report her daughter had run away the previous afternoon and not yet returned. The girl in question was found at and her mother went there to pick her up. 

6:39 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a child had been left unattended at on Medway Road. Responding officers located the guardians and planned to file a 51a abuse and neglect report. 

7:25 p.m.: Police moved along a group of youths who had been skateboarding and loitering in the parking lot of . 

7:47 p.m.: Police made their first of two visits to an address on Rolling Green Drive after reports of an unwanted person. The second call which came in at 8:19 p.m. via the 911 emergency line, resulted in police and rescue taking a woman to the emergency room at  to be held for observation. 

8:54 p.m.: Police took a report of vandalism at the gas station. 

11:35 p.m.: Police arranged for a disabled vehicle stuck in the intersection of Beaver and East Main streets to be towed from the area. 

11:40 p.m.:  A caller said she was being followed by someone but gave police a false name and address. A dispatcher called her back to obtain her actual information and arranged for an officer to speak with her.

11:46 p.m.: A caller from the Rolling Green Drive address where the earlier disturbance had taken place told police the woman who had been taken by ambulance earlier was now calling and saying "you're going to be sorry." Police contacted the hospital to ensure the calls would stop.

Sunday, March 13 

12:20 a.m.: A caller reported a loud disturbance in the middle of Westbrook Street and that those involved may have been heading toward.  No one was found. 

12:57 a.m.: Police responded to a noise complaint of a loud party on Fruit Street. An officer advised the people at the party to remain indoors and also issued one parking violation citation. 

1:27 a.m.: A caller told police the party on Fruit Street was breaking up—and that a male party ran down the street, naked. An officer found the party had indeed ended.

1:40 a.m.: A suspicious vehicle was reported in the parking lot of .  An officer found that the person in question had taken a drive to cool off following an argument with his wife. 

1:42 a.m.: A 911 call suggested a domestic incident was taking place at an address on Sidney Road. Responding officers found the parties had been separated and that the male involved had left for the night. 

3:02 a.m.: A caller from Grant Street asked police to help remove her husband who was intoxicated and shouting at her. 

3:52 a.m.: A caller reported an intoxicated male was banging on the back door of a home on S. Main Street. The officer who responded found it was the ex-boyfriend of the home's resident, who was now in the company of her current boyfriend. The ex-boyfriend left the area. 

8:20 a.m.: A resident of Uxbridge called police after not being able to reach anyone at Milford Regional Medical Center. A police dispatcher also was unable to get anyone on the phone or via radio. An officer sent for a well-being check was able to determine that both the security department and receptionist were fine.
