Police Log: Crying Woman and Child, Gun in the BK Trash
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Tuesday, Oct. 16
3:50 p.m.: Police responded to Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital on Birch Street, for a report of a domestic. A caller said the incident involved a female wearing a pink sweater, and a man with dark hair and glasses. The caller described it as an assault. Police were unable to find the people; the building was locked.
8:14 p.m.: A man was reported to be causing a disturbance at Milford Regional Medical Center. Police responded.
8:48 p.m.: A caller saw suspicious activity on North Street. A caller said someone was in all-black, wearing a "Michael Myers" Halloween mask. Police could not locate the individual.
10:52 p.m: A caller on Village Circle reported finding construction equipment on her porch, that doesn't belong to her.
Wednesday, Oct. 17
12:23 a.m.: A National Grid employee called police after he saw a woman and a small child outside Milford Regional Medical Center, crying and cold. He said he was unsure of what was going on. An officer determined the woman was looking for a ride home, and has been brought back to the ER to make those arrangements.
9:02 a.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to report a fraud on his bank account.

11:45 a.m.: A caller on Howard Street complained of loud noise coming from Planet Fitness.
3:42 p.m.: A caller at Kohl's reported they had a shoplifter. Police responded.
4:01 p.m.: A caller reported a possible domestic. The woman refused a restraining order.
4:16 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters and reported an employee at Burger King found a "gun of some sort" in the trash that morning. The gun had already been recovered, earlier Wednesday, by a detective.
