Police Log: Car vs. Building, Car Break-Ins
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Thursday, Nov. 15
3:59 p.m.: A caller from Invacare Supply Group on Industrial Road requested to speak with an officer regarding large-scale fraud. Two detectives responded.
4:47 p.m.: A female from Claudette Drive reported that someone had stolen her cell phone. The woman said she had tracked the phone to a location on Congress Street. An officer and the woman found the phone on the side of the road.
7:00 p.m.: An employee of Kmart requested an officer after an employee allegedly stole from the business. Police are seeking a summons to charge Paige A. Hensel, 17, of 22 Mechanic St. with larceny under $250.
11:02 p.m.: Officers assisted the Holliston Police Department with a search for a resident of their town. The male was found at McDonalds on Medway Road and from there was transported to the hospital.
Friday, Nov. 16
2:03 a.m.: An employee of the Royal Buddha reported that he saw two suspicious males outside the establishment as he was closing. The caller said he believed the two males left in a white Honda. An officer checked the area several times throughout the night.
6:41 a.m.: A caller from Congress Street reported that someone had gone through her vehicle overnight and stolen loose change.
7:00 a.m.: A caller from Jillson Circle reported that her unlocked car had been broken in to overnight.
7:07 a.m.: A caller from Robin Road reported an overnight larceny from their vehicle.
7:13 a.m.: A caller from Sunset Drive reported an overnight larceny from her unlocked vehicle.
7:50 a.m.: A second caller from Jillson Circle reported overnight larceny from her unlocked car.
8:06 a.m.: A caller from Edgewood Drive reported that two locked vehicles in his driveway had been broken in to overnight.
8:12 a.m.: A caller from Coolidge Road reported that her unlocked car had been broken in to overnight and her garage door opener was stolen.
9:51 a.m.: A caller reported that a vehicle had driven into the Sovereign Bank building on Prospect Street. The vehicle and the building both sustained heavy damage although no injuries were reported.
10:18 a.m.: A caller from Muriel Lane reported that his unlocked truck had been broken in to overnight.
11:00 a.m.: A caller from Brookfield Road reported that a gps and loose change had been taken from his vehicle.
11:51 a.m.: A caller from the Milford Hospital reported that a male was causing a disturbance in the emergency room. Officers responded to try and identify the male.
12:16 p.m.: A resident of Lucia Drive went in to the Milford Police Department to report that a check had been stolen from her car.
