Fish for Breakfast
A Great Blue Heron took advantage of good fishing at Vernon Grove Cemetery.
This juvenile Great Blue Heron had a small pond to himself (herself?) at Vernon Grove Cemetery.
Great Blue Herons are wading birds, and make meals of small fish and amphibians. This one found the small pond at Vernon Grove perfect for a morning meal.
