Remove Obama Protestors: Effective or Not?

The LaRouche PAC movement has been staging sidewalk protests in Milford for several months. The group is promoting Rachel Brown, a LaRouche Democratic candidate on the Fourth Congressional District primary ballot.

For several months, people who support the Lyndon LaRouche candidates have held sidewalk protests in Milford.

They stop cars at lights, hand out leaflets, and carry signs that advocate the impeachment of President Obama. The signs are notable: they feature an altered photo of Obama, giving him an Adolf Hitler-style mustache. The photo is a reference to LaRouche Political Action Committee literature that calls the president a dictator.

The LaRouche PAC has a candidate, Rachel Brown, on the Democratic ballot for the Fourth Congressional District, which now includes Milford. She spoke briefly to Milford Selectmen Monday, and is expected to hold a policy forum in Milford on Saturday.

On the Sept. 6 Democratic primary ballot, she faces candidates including Joseph Kennedy III, a grandson of the late Robert F. Kennedy.
