Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts turned out in force on Veterans Day, marching to honor vets.

Lat Friday was Veterans Day, and Milford's civic organizations turned out to honor those who have served our country with a parade. The town's youngest citizens were no exception, with colorful Scout troops marching down Main Street bearing American flags.

The Scouts also participated in a ceremony at Calzone Park

Stephanie Haley, mother to three Girl Scouts, a Daisy, a Brownie and a Junior, added that the girls "thanked every veteran they passed along the parade route with a Girl Scout salute and a smile."
