Hi Shannon,
Yes, the superintendent told me he sent out an Alert Now message. Story is now on the site. Several other districts are expected to do the same. He said he was most concerned about the afternoon buses, and road conditions at that time.

When I was a kid, I had to walk fifty miles each way to school and back home.Through snow, rain, hurricanes. Plus, I didn't have shoes. There were no school cancellations back then. These kids need to toughen up.

I will! I don't have the health agent's cell number. I called the wrong guy: for what it's worth, leaves are going to be collected Monday until it gets too windy! (reached the highway commissioner - I forgot they don't deal with garbage)

Wow, can you imagine having to walk from Milford to Salem to get to school??? That must have been really tough! Ah, er, that don't seem right....no, it can't be....it's not right.....just another blogger full of hot air!
Couldn't just state how it really was....had to exaggerate by about 48 miles.....no wonder you don't carry any credibility!
