Fireworks Dazzle in Milford
Despite the threat of rain earlier Sunday, the town fireworks went off as scheduled Sunday night.

The fireworks display went off exactly at 10 p.m. Once the fireworks were loaded into their firing tubes they had to be fired regardless of the weather, which was threatening earlier Sunday, but the skies cleared in early evening. This burst is reflected in the waters of Milford Pond.

The Milford fireworks went off without a hitch, and on schedule, Sunday night, following an afternoon of fun events for kids at Plains Park.

Does anybody know why the town set off more fireworks between 11PM and midnight on Sunday evening? I could see and hear them from my house and the last one went off at approximately 11:45. I'm not complaining, I thought it was great! Just a little curious.
