Students Participate in Art in the Valley Exhibition
The Fifth Annual Art in the Valley student art exhibition was held Fri., April 8, and Sat., April 9, at the F.W. Hartnett Middle School in Blackstone, according to a written statement from the Milford Public Schools.
Art teachers for Grades Kindergarten through Grade 8 within the Blackstone Valley were invited to submit up to 15 pieces of art representing outstanding student work, the statement said. The event was attended by family, friends, and the general public.

"In addition, it also supports the development of inventive minds, while highlighting these tremendous school art programs."
Art in the Valley is funded by the Sunshine Sign Company and the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation, according to the statement.
