Stacy Student Awards

Stacy Middle School has started the school year by recognizing five students with the "Caught in an Act of Kindness (AOK) Award.

The program recognizes students who have been caught in an act of kindness. Students are nominated by the Stacy Middle School faculty and staff and will continue throughout the school year. For the month of September the following students have received an AOK Award:

MacKenzie Elise Eagan, Grade 7: Nominated by Mrs. Houston for voluntarily cleaning a spill in the cafeteria that was completed by a peer.

Kevin Truong, Grade 7: Nominated by the Stacy Middle School ESL Department for voluntarily helping a new ESL student with the routines and expectations.

Ryan George O’Toole, Grade 6: Nominated by Mr. Mercado for voluntarily assisting a student on crutches evacuate a building during a fire drill.

Luis Filipe DaSilva, Grade 6: Nominated by Mrs. Angelini for always taking the time to smile to his peers.

Philip de Paula Marques, Grade 6: Nominated by Mrs. Angelini for assisting a new student and their family with the routines and expectations.
