Ronald M. Morelli, 62, of Milford, died Mon., Feb. 28, at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. He was the husband of Brenda (Forget) Morelli. 

He was born in Milford, son of the late Samuel and Annette (Bucci) Morelli. He attended Milford public schools and graduated from Milford High School in 1966.

Mr. Morelli first worked in the family-owned restaurant business and then served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He then returned to the family business, Morelli’s Restaurant, where he worked more than 20 years before owning and operating Ron’s Pizza Shop. He then worked at the former Cushing Hospital in Framingham. Most recently, he was an assistant insurance underwriter at Sun Life Financial in Wellesley. 

Besdies his wife of 42 years, he leaves two daughters, Rhonda L., wife of Anthony Spasaro, of Milford and Annie E. Schofield of Putnam, Conn.; two grandsons, Christopher Spasaro and Ronald Spasaro of Milford; a brother, Henry Morelli and his wife, Tommie-Jean, of Milford; a sister-in-law, Joanna Morelli of Hopedale; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Rocco “Rocky” Morelli and Anthony Morelli. 

A Memorial Mass will be held Mon., March 7, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter St. There are no visiting hours. Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress St., is directing arrangements.
