Robert J. “Bob” Pederzoli, 81, of Franklin, formerly of Holliston and Milford, died Wed., April 13, at UMass/Memorial Healthcare in Worcester after a brief illness. He was the husband of Nancy H. (Haughey) Pederzoli and the late Barbara (Volpicelli) Pederzoli.
He was born in Miford, the son of the late Alphonse and Delina M. (Rizoli) Pederzoli, and graduated from Milford High School in 1947. He also graduated from Northeastern University and attended Suffolk Law School. He lived most of his life in Holliston before moving to Franklin seven years ago.
Mr. Pederzoli first worked for the Automobile Legal Association and later worked more than 25 years at the probation department of Milford District Court, retiring as chief probation officer. He was a longtime communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Holliston and a longtime member of the Plains Association of Milford. He was also a longtime supporter of the Milford Legion Baseball Team and served on its board of directors.
Besides his wife of 48 years, he leaves two daughters, Diane, wife of Richard Gilley, of Whitinsville and Lynne A., wife of Michael DaSilva, of Franklin; five grandchildren, Michael Feeney, David Feeney, Alyssa DaSilva, Alec DaSilva and Evan DaSilva; and several cousins.
His funeral will be held Mon., April 18, at 12:30 p.m. from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress St., Milford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Washington Street (Rte 16), Holliston. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Holliston.
