Swim Lessons of the American Red Cross are offered to all skill levels and all ages starting at two years of age. Sessions run five weeks for Levels 1 – 6 and five weeks for children ages 2 through 5.
For ages 2 and 3 (Tiny Tonkers) and ages 4 and 5 (Mini Wheats) lessons are held on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. Cost is $50 for Milford residents and $60 for non-Milford residents.
For ages 6 and older (Levels 1 – 6), lessons are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m. Cost is $60 for Milford residents and $70 for non-Milford residents.
Classes begin September 18 and end on October 18 for Levels 1 through 6. Classes for Tiny Tonkers and Mini Wheats will take place Saturdays, September 22, 29, October 6, 13, 20. Start time for Mini Wheats is 10 a.m., and start time for Tiny Tonkers is 11 a.m.
Instructional time for Levels 1 through 6 is approximately 40 minutes and instructional time for Mini-Wheats and Tiny Tonkers is approximately 40 minutes.
Space is limited and registration is accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis for Milford residents. The registration date for MILFORD RESIDENTS ONLY is Monday, September 10, at 6 p.m. in the lobby of the Milford High School Pool. Residents should be prepared to show proof of residency.
Non-Milford residents are welcome if space is available. On the day following Milford registration, level openings will be posted on the message board of our website at www.milford.ma.us/mcs. Subsequent registrations will be accepted in person ONLY at the Milford Community Program office and on a first-come, first-serve basis for all.
