Mendon - Upton Music Boosters

Come join the “Music Boosters” and share in the entertainment!

Who are we?

We are a non-profit organization comprised of volunteer parents whose children participate in the variety of performing arts within Grades Pre-K – 12 in the Mendon – Upton Regional School District.

Our Mission

To instill in our students a lifelong appreciation and enjoyment of music by promoting interest in the Music Programs, provide funding for equipment and expenses related to the Music Program, assist the Directors in the maintenance of this equipment and support various music events.

Our Roles:

• Hold a variety of fundraisers throughout the year
• Help coordinate chaperones for all music events
• Create funds and manage a budget that supports:

• Elementary, middle and high school music departments
• Instrument lesson scholarships and college music scholarships
• Field trips and other music-related events
• Transportation of students to and from all events
• Purchase and maintenance of band and chorus uniforms

How can YOU help?

In order to achieve the goals of this organization, community support is needed.  If you are looking for a way to give back to the community, volunteering is one of the most valuable ways to do so.  Parents and guardians of students enrolled in the Music Programs are needed for:

• FUNDRAISING! Sign up to be on the Fundraising Committee.
• Attendance at our monthly meetings at Nipmuc High School to share ideas and support the music program.
• Raffles and collections at concerts.
• Fitting, assigning, and tracking student uniforms.
• A whole host of other great efforts!
