Girl Power! Class Schedules for Grades 1-7

The Milford Community School Use Program will offer Girl Power – Be Strong, Be Smart, Be Amazing – for girls in grades 1 and 2, grades 3 and 4, and grades 5 through 7.  This program teaches girls about finding their inner power, how to choose good friends and make healthy food choices.  Each class has a theme, a fun activity and fitness section, and is limited to 20 students. There are 4 classes being offered to accommodate students at each Milford elementary/middle school! 

For girls in grades 1 and 2, a class will be held at the Memorial Elementary School Gym beginning Monday, September 10, and continuing for 4 weeks until October 15, (no class on Sept. 17 and Oct. 8).  There will be a class offered at the Brookside Elementary School Gym beginning Monday, October 22, and continuing for 4 weeks until November 19, (no class on Nov. 12).  Each class runs from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. and cost is $55 for Milford students and $65 for non-Milford students.  Students may register for either the Brookside or Memorial class, but not both.  

Students in grades 3 and 4 may participate in the program on Mondays for 4 weeks beginning November 26, through Monday, December 17, in the Woodland Elementary School Cafeteria.  This class runs from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. and cost is $55 for Milford students and $65 for non-Milford students.

Our Girl Power class for grades 5, 6 and 7 will run for 6 weeks on Thursdays beginning September 20, through October 25, in the Stacy Middle School Gym.  Each class runs from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and cost is $75 for Milford students and $85 for non-Milford students.

Please call the office at (508) 478-1119 with questions.  All registration forms and fees must be submitted to the Milford Community Program office located at 31 West Fountain Street, Milford MA 01757 prior to the start of the program.  Registration is on a first-come first-serve basis.  Late registrations will be accepted if there is room, but fees will not be reduced.
