Elizabeth A. “Betty” (Cenedella) Morawiec, 78, formerly of Milford, died Sun., April 24, at the Beaumont Skilled Nursing Center in Northbridge after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late John Morawiec, who died in 2008. 

She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Reno and Mary (Volpicelli) Cenedella, and lived most of her life in Milford. She attended Milford High School. 

Mrs. Morawiec formerly worked at the former Lisch Hat Shop. She was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 

She leaves several nieces and nephews, Atty. Joseph Anesta of Cranston, R.I., Carol Quinn of Vero Beach, Fla., Edward Cenedella Jr. of West Springfield and Barbara Maglione of Hudson; and several grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Edward Cenedella Sr. and Emily Anesta. 

Her funeral will be held Tues., April 26, from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Lower Chapel of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A visiting hour will be held Tues., April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
