Christopher E. Cummings, 14, who would have entered the 9th grade at Milford High School this year, died Thursday, Aug. 18, at home.

He was born in Newton, son of Victor and Elizabeth (Cummings) Pinto, both of Milford, and was a lifelong Milford resident. He was a member of the Blackstone Valley Young Marines.

He enjoyed Pokemon competitions, drawing, skateboarding, bike riding and camping.

In addition to his parents, he leaves his brother, Ryan Pinto of Milford; his maternal grandparents, Edward and Mary (Tonra) Cummings of Dennisport; his paternal grandmother, Maria (Esteves) Pinto of Milford; his uncles, Edward and his wife, Dawn Cummings, Kenneth Cummings, U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class, Matthew Cummings, Paul and his wife, Rena Pinto; his aunts, Denise Cummings, Maureen and her husband, Bryan Lindsay, Tina and her husband, Scott LeClaire; his best friend, Richard Gaffin, and many cousins.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Antonio Pinto.

The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's of the Assumption Church, Winter Street.

Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery on Cedar Street.

Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

chris i know we didnt get along all the time but u really were a talented kid i just wish i could take back all the times we argued.. i love u chris i know u would of gone far in life <3
