Arden P. (Consigli) Hanscom, 74, of Milford, died Mon., April 18, in the Milford Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Donald W. Hanscom for 53 years.

She was born in Milford, daughter of Catherine (Chaplin) Consigli of Medway and the late Joseph Consigli. She lived in Medway, graduating from Medway High School in 1954, before moving to Milford in 1957.

Mrs. Hanscom was an assembler for the former Data General Corp., retiring in 1982. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church.            

Besides her husband and mother, she leaves a son, Donald W. Hanscom Jr. of Milford; three brothers, Peter Consigli and David Consigli, both of Medway, and Joseph Consigli of Northbridge; three sisters, Kathleen Burke of Athol, Joanne Gaulin of Derby, Kan., and Nancy Rojee of Medway; two grandchildren, Brandon Hanscom and Jake Hanscom; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral will be held Wed., April 27, at 9 a.m. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church, Winter Street. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tues., April 26, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
