Antonio Goncalves Jr., 21, of Milford, died Sun., May 8, in the Milford Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Milford, son of Antonio and Rosa (Braza) Goncalves Sr. of Milford, and was a lifelong Milford resident. He graduated from Milford High School and from New England Technical School in 2010. 

Mr. Goncalves enjoyed video games and soccer. His favorite soccer team was Benfica.

Besides his parents, he leaves a brother, Michael Manuel Goncalves of Milford; his paternal grandparents, Antonio and Maria (Alves) Goncalves of Portugal; many aunts, uncles and cousins.   

The funeral will be held Wed., May 11, at 9 a.m. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church, Winter Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tues., May 10, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
